Image Description and Details: Also known as NGC 4747, the smaller distorted galaxy at left is the 159th entry in the Arp Atlas of Peculiar Galaxies, with extensive tidal tails indicative of strong gravitational interactions in its past. At about a 100,000 light-years across, its likely companion on the right is the much larger NGC 4725, with only one spiral arm! The galaxy at upper right is 4712, almost the same size of NGC 4725 but around 5 times further away.

Acquisition occurred during the time from April 15- May 7, 2024. This is an LRGB composition consisting of 7 h luminance, 5 h 20 min blue, 5 h 10 min green and 6 h red. All subs were 300 sec duration
