Image Description and Details: M51 is a very popular subject for Amateur Astrophotographers, and is interacting with it's closely associated partner M51b (or NGC 5195) This image was taken with a Planewave CDK14 scope from the New Mexico high desert, just a week ago. This is an LRGB image with 15 x 5 mins for each of the colors and 98 x 3 min subs for the luminance .

Equipment Details: Mount : Astrophysics 1600GTOAE, Scope : Planewave CDK14, QHY 600M camera and QHY Filter wheel and OAG.
