Image Description and Details : Patchick 5 (Pa 5, PN G 076.3+14.1) is a bipolar planetary nebula in constellation Cygnus.
This planetary nebula, which is embedded in faint background nebulosity, was discovered by Dana Patchick, a member of the Deep Sky Hunter team in year 2005 by scanning the digital sky surveys (DSS).
Pa 5 has a size of 2.6 arcminutes and distance is estimated to be about 4,500 light years. It is one of the few planetary with a confirmed binary central star with orbital period of 1.12 days.
