Image Description and Details: This supernova remnant is located in the constellation of Monoceros (Greek for Unicorn). It is a rarely photographed target compared to other more well-known and popular ones in this constellation.
The distance information for this target is inconsistent due to the low intensity of the object in the optical and radio ranges. It is estimated to be located between 3 and 5 kpc (Kiloparsec) (9800 ~ 16000 Ly).
