Image Description and Details: The Planetary Nebula NGC 1360, also known as the "Robins Egg Nebula," is located in the Fornax constellation. Discovered by James Dunlop in 1826, it displays a complex and asymmetrical structure. Its bluish appearance, which inspired the nickname "Robins Egg Nebula," is the result of the ionization of oxygen atoms in the nebula. The central star, a white dwarf remnant of a red giant star, is responsible for the emission of light. The nebula is a popular target for astronomical observation, especially among amateur astronomers, and its estimated distance from Earth is about 4700 light-years.
