Data Acquisition Method: Personal Telescope Setup

Image Description and Details: Data for this image were captured over September/October 2024 using an ASI2600 camera and 36mm Astronomik filter (LRGB & Ha). NGC300 is approximately 6.5 million light years away in the constellation of Sculptor and is slightly smaller than our home galaxy, the Milky Way. Process the data for this image was challenging in being able to produce a realistic image which represents the mix of new, star forming regions and older stars in the core.

Takahashi TSA120 OTA with .7x focal reducer
ZWO ASI2600 camera
Astronomik 36mm LRGB filters and 6nm narrowband filters for Ha
