Kembels Cascade

Image Title: Kembels Cascade

Date image was taken: November 30, 2023

Location: Germany

Image Description and Details: Hello, this beautiful star chain can be observed extensively in binoculars.
But if you expose Kembels Cascade in the constellation Camelopardalis for a long time, large areas of galactic dust and small dark nebula come to light.
It has the impression that this asterism fights through the dust to present itself in its beauty. The colors of the differently hot burning stars cause the surrounding dust to be slightly reflected in color.
I photographed this picture over two clear nights in November 2023 from my garden.

I hope you like the picture. Stay well and clear skies…
Stefan

Equipment Details: My setup was the Takahashi FSQ 85 with the Canon Ra on an EQ6R.
The total exposure time was about 5h.
